Local Trader Linda Rogerson-Heath of the Homeopath's in New Romney, is running to raise money for children of the Make A Wish Foundation; who provide wishes for dying children, in the London Flora Marathon on April 13th 2008.

Late Night Shopping Success
The late night shopping this year turned out to be a great success! Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves, a great time had by all!
The traders association would like to say a special thank you to everyone involved in the organisation and running of the event.

Childrens Window Competition
This proved to be a great success within exess of 100 entries!
The three lucky winners are Ewen Harmer 7, from New Romney, Lotte Leyshon 4, from Littlestone and Luke Harmsworth 5, from New Romney.
Each of the winners have won a large tin of Quality Street to be presented to them by The Right Worshipful Mayor of New Romney Speaker of the Cinque Ports Councillor Clive Wire. on the 13th of December.
Christmas Window Display Competition
A special thanks to everyone who put time and effort into creating such festive and elaborate displays, but there could only be 3 winners! They are as follows:

There will be a procession starting at 6:30pm.

A strip of land in the centre of the High Street has now been officially transferred into the ownership of New Romney Town Council. A package was negotiated with the donor of the land who ‘gifted’ the land to the people of New Romney and absorbed all parties legal fees. Therefore, due to the generosity of Goodlife Estates Ltd, we have, without cost to residents, now added to the Town’s assets.

As previously explained, it is not expected for all members to attend meetings as all members will all be given minutes following each meeting. However, any support you would like to give by attending would be greatly appreciated.

The New Romney Town Hall has just under-gone a long overdue face lift. The hall now stands proud within the High Street after being given a fresh coat of paint by Kevin Wilson, Painter and Decorator.
